Attended the very intensive and action oriented EAP Course by Executive Directions. Re-Learning many good and awesome stuff. Difference is in taking immediate action and thus, the learning is experiential and more powerful. New learning from Ken Chee - what is your Unique Selling Proposition/Personality (USP), which he calls the 'soul of the biz'. Egs BreadTalk's job scope is making bread but the soul is Entertainment thru food. Look at the design and ambiance of Food Republic. Story of Big Mamma - job scope is Wanton Noodle but the soul is treating u like an honored guest/ultimate generousity.
Another blessing is Allan Pease book The Questions Are the Answers which James has shared 5 years ago. Reading the book gave me a fresher appreciation to the system and am committed to do it in 2009.
The fact that almost 100 people were in the EAP, reflected that people are serious about looking for opportunities.
Now, on the road to put all lessons learnt into practise the next 2 weeks as we work as a team to prapare for the Biz Opportunity Fair.
It was an empowering experience.
